Introducing our new SkinRepairX Range

We are excited to tell you about SkinrepairX, a range of daily moisturisers designed for use on both the face and body. The SkinrepairX range has been formulated to soothe, moisturise, protect, and comfort dry skin including skin suffering from eczema and psoriasis.

The range consists of four products: Colloidal Oat Cream, Emollient Cream, Emollient Gel and 50/50 Ointment.

All products are suitable to use from birth, vegan, free from fragrance and cruelty free.

Each product is available in a handy 100ml tube (ideal size for handbag or glove compartment) and a more economical 500ml bottle (as once you’ve tried it, you’ll want more!)

Colloidal Oat Cream

Our luxurious SkinrepairX Colloidal Oat Cream prevents dryness and irritation, helps protect your skin’s barrier, and balances its natural pH levels leaving it soft and smooth.

SkinrepairX Colloidal Oat cream helps the skin to lock in its natural moisture. It can hydrate even the driest skin and soothes the effects of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Our SkinrepairX Colloidal Oat Cream contains apricot kernel oil, Avena Sativia (Oat) Kernel flour, Vitamin E and Glycerol which are all beneficial to skin.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Apricot Kernel Oil is good for the skin as it moisturises and has skin restoring properties. The oil is primarily composed of fatty acids oleic and linoleic acid, as well as vitamins A, C, and E. Linoleic acid helps improve skin’s ceramides, which play a vital role in maintaining skin’s barrier.

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour

Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour is produced by finely grinding oats, then boiling them. Research shows avenanthramides, potent types of antioxidants found in oats (and Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour), can help soothe skin. A high concentration of beta-glucan and starches in colloidal oatmeal also mean it has water-binding properties and is an effective skin protectant.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is one of the most well-known and researched antioxidants for the body and for skin. Vitamin E occurs naturally in human skin but can become depleted due to constant environmental exposure in the absence of sun protection. According to the cosmetic ingredient database, Vitamin E is classified as an antioxidant, but also an occlusive ingredient. Occlusive ingredients are those that form a protective barrier over the skin and keep it moist and hydrated.

Glycerol

Glycerol is a skin-replenishing and skin-restoring ingredient, meaning it is a substance found naturally in skin, helping to establish normal balance and hydration. It’s one of the many substances in skin that helps maintain a healthy look and feel, defending against dryness and working to maintain skin’s moisture level. Essentially, glycerol is a master at hydration. According to the cosmetics ingredient database, glycerol is classified as a skin protector, skin conditioner and a humectant. A humectant is a substance that promotes the retention of moisture.

Our SkinrepairX Colloidal Oat Cream is lighter than other colloidal oat creams and offers something for everyone.

Emollient Cream

Working in exactly the same way as SkinrepairX Emollient Gel, our Emollient Cream is thicker and richer.
